Start from the Use tab
Open Google Play, choose the Google account that owns the points, open Play Points, and select Use. The rewards shown there are the options currently available to that account and country.
Do not rely on an old screenshot or another region's reward list. Availability and required points can change.
Coupons discount only qualifying purchases
A coupon applies automatically when an in-app or in-game purchase meets its conditions. Check the eligible app, minimum purchase amount, discount amount, and expiration before exchanging points.
Google says coupons exchanged with points expire after one year. A saved coupon can be found in Notifications & offers under Saved offers, although menu wording may vary by app version.
Play credit is not the same as a coupon
Google Play credit can be used for eligible Google Play purchases, while an app-specific coupon is limited to the named app or game and its conditions.
Credit received by exchanging points expires after one year. It is not cash and cannot be withdrawn to a bank or external wallet.
In-app items and partner rewards have separate rules
An exchanged in-app or in-game item must be found inside the relevant app. Partner vouchers, when available, are usually stored in the Perks tab and may have their own redemption deadline.
Google says points used for in-app items or donations generally cannot be refunded, so confirm the destination before completing the exchange.
Compare usefulness, not only the displayed value
The best reward is the one you were already going to use. A large-looking coupon can be poor value if it requires an extra purchase or expires before you need it.
Keep point-earning cost and redemption value separate. The calculator estimates how much spending may earn points; it does not decide which reward is worth using.
