The points shown in this table are annual level points. Your redeemable balance is a different number. Redeeming points does not reduce the annual level progress, while refunds or cancellations can remove points connected to the purchase.
Thresholds are not fixed spending totals
Level thresholds are points, not fixed purchase amounts. Bronze 1 point per $1 applies while that rate is active; after reaching Silver or Gold, later purchases may earn at the new rate. Estimate from current annual progress and confirm when the new rate starts.
Each item is calculated separately and rounded to the nearest whole point. The purchase preview and Points history should decide the final result.
Weekly benefits and level timing
The regular weekly prize begins at Silver and resets on Friday in the Play country. Play Pass weekly bonuses and boosters are a separate Thursday benefit for eligible subscribers and family members.
Level progress is based on points earned during the level period shown by Google Play. Check the app near year-end rather than assuming a lifetime total controls the next year.

How many points are needed for Silver in the US?
150 annual level points.
Does spending points lower my level progress?
No. Redeeming points lowers the usable balance, not the annual level progress. Refunds and cancellations are different.
Is Diamond 10,000 points in every country?
No. This page is for the United States Play country only.
