Points stay with the enrolled purchasing account
Google says points are earned for eligible purchases made from the Google account enrolled in Play Points. On a phone with several accounts, the account selected in the Play Store and the account used for payment may not be the one you expected.
Compare the receipt email, Google Play order history, and Play Points profile. When those three do not match, the first task is finding the correct account rather than waiting for the visible balance to change.
Points cannot be transferred or combined
Google's earning guide states that Play Points cannot be transferred between accounts or to another person. That remains true even when the accounts belong to the same user or members of the same family group.
Do not plan to earn on one account and move the balance later. Choose the account deliberately before a large eligible purchase, especially when one account already has a higher level.
Family payment does not create shared points
A family payment method can pay for a family member's purchase, but it does not turn the points into a shared family reward. Google's troubleshooting guide says you do not earn points when someone else in the family group makes the purchase, even if the family payment method is used.
The purchaser's enrolled account is the important identity. Separate who paid from which Google account completed the purchase.
Joining later does not credit older purchases
Play Points must be joined before the purchase. Google says purchases made before joining do not receive points afterward.
If a new or secondary account has no Play Points history, verify whether it was enrolled at the time of purchase. Repeatedly switching accounts or joining after the receipt was issued will not recreate an earlier reward.
Account and country checks before spending
Before a planned purchase, open the intended account, confirm it is enrolled, check the current level, and verify the Play country and payment profile. Country changes can remove existing points and prevent the old level from carrying over.
Use the calculator only after the account is settled. A correct multiplier applied to the wrong account still produces a misleading plan.
Calculate for the account that will actually buy
Enter the level and missing points shown on that account. Do not combine balances from several accounts.

Can two accounts combine points for one reward?
No. Treat each account's balance and level separately.
Does the owner of a family payment method earn every family purchase?
No. The eligible purchasing account matters, not only the funding source.
Which account should I use in the calculator?
Use the account that will make the purchase and enter the level and missing points shown in that account.
