Spending estimates for keeping a level are not universal “costs to reach”

If the account starts the year already at the level and every eligible purchase earns only that level's base rate, 3,000 Platinum points correspond to about $2,143 and 10,000 Diamond points to $6,250.

From a lower level, the current level's rate applies until the account advances. Taxes, item eligibility, per-purchase rounding, refunds, and promotions also change the result. Calculate from the missing annual points shown in Google Play.

Do not divide every remaining point by the destination level’s rate unless the account already earns at that rate. Use the calculators to estimate annual spending when you already hold that level, and use the status calculator when progress still crosses lower levels.

Platinum

Worth comparing when planned annual purchases already put the account near 3,000 points and you use weekly prizes or premium support.

Diamond

Worth calculating when planned annual purchases already approach 10,000 points and the higher 1.6-point rate will apply repeatedly after the level is reached.

Neither as a target

If reaching the next level would push you far beyond your planned Google Play budget, your current level may already suit you. A confirmed promotion can make a planned purchase more rewarding; weigh that benefit against the extra amount needed to move up.

2. Confirm the base rate in the Earn tab.

4. Add a promotion only when the exact purchase qualifies.
5. Compare the remaining amount with the planned annual budget.
