What this calculator assumes
Level progress, not balance
Redeeming points lowers the spendable balance, but it does not normally subtract those points from calendar-year level progress.
Purchase-by-purchase rounding
Google calculates and rounds points by item. Tax is excluded, so one total-spend estimate may not match the activity history exactly.
A large gap is a decision signal
If the required pace is far above purchases you already planned, maintaining the badge may cost more than the benefits are worth. This page is meant to make stopping easier, not to push extra spending.

The maintenance line and base earn rate come from the United States Google Play Help page. Google also states that country rules differ, tax is excluded, points are rounded per purchase, and returns can reduce level progress.
Questions before spending
Is this the cost to reach the level from Bronze?
No. It is a maintenance reference for someone already at this level. Reaching it from a lower level uses the earn rate that applies before each upgrade.
Should I subtract my current Play Points balance?
No. Use calendar-year level progress or the remaining points Google shows. Spendable balance and level progress are different.
Does the 2x figure always apply?
